The Extend Trench function enables you to extend (stretch) or reduce (compress) an existing trench section.

When extending the trench, any cable routing lines are extended as well.

To extend the trench, simply use the Element Selection method to select which trench is to be extended and use the mouse to stretch the end to the desired length.

When the trench is extended to the desired length, left-click to complete the process.
